Sea Kayak Racing
One event that has seriously got me thinking about going to gym and doing circuit training again, is the Inaugural Peninsular Challenge or MIKE07. www.mike07challenge.com
It is a 150km sea kayak race over 5 days along the beautiful western coast of Malaysia. The race route starts from the resort island of Langkawi, taking you past Pangkor Island and eventually around Putrajaya Lake near Kuala Lumpur.
And just a few years ago, I remembered all we had was the kayak marathon at Ubin Island.
Earlier in May there was the Labuan International Extreme Kayak Challenge (84km), and the Labuan Round Island Race (50km). People's Association (Singapore) also hosts a Round Ubin Island sea kayak race (22km) at the end of the year.

Anyway, perhaps it is time to dig up those weights...!
