Nautiraid Folding ICF K1

On the topic of flatwater racing, Nautiraid's new exciting offering is its innovative and sleek ICF K1 trainer/racer.

Designed by German 8-time Olympic Champion Birgit Fischer, it aims to serve as an easily transportable kayak for any competitive and fitness athletes. 5.2m, 13+kg, performance seat and rudder, all very ICF-language to me.
People wondering about its performance can note that no less than 3 kayak Olympic champions were involved in its design and testing. Only the best will do for them.

I thought a more interesting story is Birgit Fischer herself. This is from the Olympic history book: "She is considered a legend in kayak racing and one of the greatest Olympian in history. She won 8 gold medals over a record 6 different Olympic Games: twice representing East Germany, then four times representing the reunited nation. After both the 1988 and 2000 games, she announced her retirement, only to return for the subsequent games. She has been both the youngest- and oldest-ever Olympic kayaking champion (ages 18 and 42). In 2004 she was voted German sportswoman of the year. Birgit Fischer is the only woman to win Olympic medals 20 years apart."

She is a great athelete!
