Excesses

We just sent 100kg of rations to Manila in THE BOX!

Due to cancellations by Tiger Airways and the load of our luggage, the rations had to be sent first to avoid expensive excess baggage fees. Despite the bad press about Tiger's customer service (well deserved), they have a wonderful policy of taking our kayaks with minimal fuss and fee. We all know how excessive these excess baggage fees are for other airlines.


Not much menu choice this time - chicken curry, mutton stew, porridge, etc. When I was at their office purchasing the rations, I saw they even have shark's fins and abalone in soup as "rations"! Excessive?

Hopefully THE BOX will arrive on time in Manila and then transfer completely to Batanes.
