Paddlestar dream

The dream is the beginning of a kayaking skills program which will teach thousands of people around this region about kayaking. With the waterways and islands we have in se asia, kayaking should be taught to as many people as possible. And building a regional paddling community like this is the key to changing perceptions about our waterways from being a rubbish sewage dump to beautiful recreational possibilities. 

It is a dream for now, as the logistics and resources will be immense. It might happen if people start believing in this dream...

Anyway, it was funny to see JB struggling with a translator to get his instructions across to the Indonesian class. 

Fortunately all of them are very quick-learners and came with a positive attitude. The lessons were qucikly absorbed. They enjoyed themselves immensely. 

Hopefully some of them will be interested to become instructors, and in turn teach local students about kayaking. 

As far as resources are concerned, we can only do so much now.
